DialWhere answers one question: you got a call from an unfamiliar area code, so where is it, what time is it there, and how often do people report unwanted calls from numbers with that code?
Who
DialWhere is published by BiLingoPlus LLC. It is independent: not affiliated with NANPA, CNAC, the FTC, the FCC, any phone company or any caller-ID service.
How the pages are made
Every page is generated by our own software from public data files (see sources), and the text is written by templates that branch on the data. The software and the templates were written with the help of an AI model (Claude); no page is written freehand by AI. Each build is checked automatically against the source files: the counts on a page are recomputed independently, and a build with a mismatch, a stale file or a phone number on a page is not published. We do not claim a human editor reads every page.
What we do not do
We do not look up people, owners of phone numbers or individual numbers, and no phone number appears on this site other than three-digit area codes. Complaint counts are totals by area code: a caller ID can be faked, so a count says nothing about any particular number or person.
Money
The site has no advertising at the moment. We count page views with Google Analytics 4; what it records is on the privacy page.
468 area code pages, 66 state and province pages and monthly reports, refreshed every month. Mistakes are fixed and logged on corrections; write to us.
